| A beautiful 9 km walk from the dunes of Overveen to the sea and back |
| We start our gorgeous hike at the rear end of the small trainstation of Overveen, near the restaurant and the railway platforms. Take the train from Amsterdam Central Station or Amsterdam Slotervaart in the direction of Zandvoort, and stop at Overveen and meet us at Overveen’s station, Sunday June 2, at 2 PM. From the station, we will walk to the dunes, entrance Koevlak, about a 20 minute walk. There we will choose the blue route, the Tien Bergenroute. Passing small lakes (the first lake is a popular swimming area surrounded by pine trees, at another one you can spot birds), several dune tops and changing landscapes, we end up at the sea. Here we can swim if the weather allows us to do so, and have a drink at Parnassia aan Zee. Then we continue our hike, back to Koevlak and the station of Overveen. Here we can eat together in the restaurant. The walk is for free, do bring some cash for a possible small entrance fee at Koevlak and to pay for food and drinks at the restaurant.
