ABOUT ANNETTE

I’ve been there. I’m a Dutch citizen, having lived in France, Belgium and the US. I know that gnawing feeling of loneliness, a sense of not belonging, partly because as a teenager I felt left out, different and misunderstood. I spend a good deal of my time abroad figuring out who I am and what I want and I did find answers. Little by little, I found a way out of my fear and depression. Today I live a good life, I have a great partner and a sweet dog, family and friends, and I enjoy my work, hiking in nature, swimming, meditating, movies and reading.

After a career as a painter and a study in journalism, and working parttime as a teacher of Dutch to refugees and expats, I decided to study life coaching (two years) at the Atma Institute in Amersfoort. I have received my Atma diploma in 2018 and have coached clients since then. I also studied youth coaching at the Sonnevelt Institute and I’m a licensed trainer assisting children and teenagers dealing with bullying (Trainer Omgaan met Pesten).

In 2023 I specialized in Transactional Analysis and Act and Acceptance Therapy. I continue to learn more about coaching and counseling at the Corael institute in De Bilt. Most of all, I’m a person who never ceases to be amazed at the possibilities for personal growth and loves to see people grow happier and more self confident.

Because of my years living abroad and also because of the fact I’m married to an Argentinian woman, I am fluent in English, French, Spanish and Dutch. I can perfectly work with you in any of these languages.
